How do I obtain a fishing permit for the Egleghem pond in Hombeek?

The Egleghem pond in Hombeek near Mechelen is a sand quarry measuring approximately 42 hectares. This was dug to build part of the E19 between Antwerp and Brussels. In addition to the Egleghems Collective, there is also a surfing and sailing club active on the water.
Since 2011, a detailed file of the occupancy on this water has been drawn up.
There are currently more than 150 known fish.
The water is classified in the VBK water management as Category 1. This means a High Level Catch Water.
This is a water with a considerable surface area and a limited occupancy (specimen water) where catching carp depends entirely on the skill of the angler, without additional peripheral information. So it is usually the real go-getters who achieve the greatest successes on this water.
The water is co-managed by the VBK in collaboration with the ALV (Antwerp Line Fishermen’s Association), which represents the interests of predatory and coarse fishermen.

The permits for the Egleghem-Hombeek Pond 2024 can be purchased between December 15, 2023 and March 15, 2024. Not before and not after these dates and only via the form that you can find here.
The permit can only be obtained in this way and not at the VBK meeting or at other fairs!
You must of course be a VBK member and can only obtain a permit after you have also paid the VBK membership fee.

L’étang d’Egleghem à Hombeek près de Malines est une carrière de sable d’une superficie d’environ 42 hectares. Celui-ci a été creusé pour construire une partie de l’E19 entre Anvers et Bruxelles. Outre le Collectif Egleghems, il existe également un club de surf et de voile actif sur l’eau.
Depuis 2011, un dossier détaillé de l’occupation de ce plan d’eau est établi.
Il existe actuellement plus de 150 poissons connus.
L’eau est classée dans la gestion de l’eau VBK dans la catégorie 1. Cela signifie une eau de capture de haut niveau.
Il s’agit d’une eau avec une superficie considérable et une occupation limitée (eau témoin) où la capture de la carpe dépend entièrement de l’habileté du pêcheur, sans informations périphériques supplémentaires. Ce sont donc généralement les vrais fonceurs qui obtiennent les plus grands succès sur ce plan d’eau.
L’eau est co-gérée par le VBK en collaboration avec l’ALV (Association des Pêcheurs de la Ligne d’Anvers), qui représente les intérêts des pêcheurs carnassiers et pêcheurs au coup.

Les permis pour l’Étang Egleghem-Hombeek 2024 peuvent être achetés entre le 15 décembre 2023 et le 15 mars 2024. Ni avant ni après ces dates et uniquement via le formulaire que vous trouverez ici.
Le permis ne peut être obtenu que de cette manière et non lors du congrès du VBK ou d’autres salons !
Vous devez bien entendu être membre du VBK et ne pouvez obtenir un permis qu’après avoir également payé la cotisation du VBK.
